CHILDREN IN DANGER
RESCUE AT BROWN’S BAY Two children bathing near the Brown’s Bay Wharf yesterday afternoon were seen to be in difficulties by a girl from the Salvation Army camp near the beach. She rushed to the rescue, but found the water too deep and was forced to return. A man on the beach then plunged in, fully clothed, •and succeeded in pulling the children close enough to the shore for them to obtain a foothold.
