Died on Christmas Day. —Mr. Robert Brown, aged 55 years, died suddenly at his residence at Westport on Sunday. Ten days ago he collapsed at his work at Te Kuiha, and was admitted to hospital, which he had just left.—Press Association. Medical Treatment Wanted.—“l want medical treatment —I’m in a terrible state,” said Samuel Robert Prisk, aged 53, who was charged at the Police Court to-day with being idle and disorderly. He was remanded for a week. Fire at Mount Albert. —Two rooms of an unoccupied six-roomed house in New. North Road were damaged by a fire which broke out early yesterday morning. The Mount Albert brigade was, called out a little after 2 p.m., and prevented the flames from spreading. The house is insured for £l,lOO in the State Fire Insurance Office.
