On December 24 a morning and an afternoon delivery will be made by postmen. Sunday. December 25 (Christmas Day). —Mails for Southern Offices will close at 5 p.m. and 5.30 p.m., respectively. The midnight clearance of street “receivers” will not be made.
Monday, December 26 (for Christmas Day) and January 2 (for New Years Day), and Tuesday, December 27 (for Boxing Day).—Will be observed as close holidays. A midnight clearance of street “receivers” will be made. On the 26th instant, mails for Southern Offices will close at 5 pjn. and 5.30 p.m. respectively. There will be no delivery by postmen. Tuesday, December 27 (for Boxing Day) and Monday, January 2 (for New Year’s Day).—All mails will close at 4 a.m., with the exceptior that those for Southern Offices wiL close at 5 p.m. and 5.30 pm. respectively. Only parcels on which the “Express Transit” fee has been pax will be dispatched. There will be a delivery by postmen. Sunday, January I.—Mails for Southerr Offices will close at 5 p.m. and 5.3( p.m. respectively. A midnight clearance of all street "receivers” will be made as usuaL Late fee letters for Southern Office; may be posted in the box at tb* entrance to the Railway Station platform, up to 10 minutes before th* advertised times of departure of th« expresses.
