TOC H CONCERT

The Toe H gave a concert, which was very highly appreciated, at. the Evelyn Firth Home, Parnell, on Wednesday last. A little play, entitled “Suppressed Desires,” was enthusiastically received, and given by Miss Lush, Miss Biddy Philcox and Mr. Stewart. Musical items were contributed by Mr. Dan Flood, Miss Carr, Mr. Gilgour and Mr. Lipscombe. The home was very prettily decorated.

The Toe II has just been formally made a branch in Auckland by the granting of a Lamp of Maintenance, which was lit by the Prince of Wales at the Albert Hall. London, on Saturday, December 4. The lamp will shortly arrive in Auckland.
