HUNTLY HIBERNIANS
OFFICERS ELECTED St. Anthony’s branch W 609 of the H.A.C.B.S. held a meeting last Sunday, when Mr. W. Kane, district secretary of the Auckland central branch, addressed the brethren. Bro. Kane gave some interesting advice and assistance to the members, and renewed activity is reported, with increased roll numbers. Mr. Thomas J. Hackett presided, and at the conclusion of the proceedings the following officers were elected: President, Mr. T. J. Hackett; treasurer. Mr. J. O’Sullivan; trustees, Messrs. Walker, O’Dea, and Heffron; auditors, Messrs. Berry and Hara; sick visitors, Messrs. Heffron and Hart; secretary, pro. tern, Mr. Jack Lanigan.
