NEW FACTORY PROPOSED
IN NORTHERN DISTRICT (From Our Own Correspondent) DARGAVILLE, Thursday. ft is proposed to establish a dairy factory at Te Kopuru for the convenience of dairv farmers who have been supplying the Northern Wairoa Co-operative Dairy C.oy . Ltd., and a specially appointed committee is working toward this end by preparing a report up on the prospects of such a concern. A meeting of settlers from the Aratapu. To Kopuru, Aoroa. Tatarariki, Koremoa and Tikinui settlements was held last evening, when it was reported that preliminary meetings had been held in some districts, with gratifying results. A site with a deep-water frontage is obtainable and it is estimated that the factory would commence with about 2,'K)O cows.
