BRAVE SCOUT
GALLANTRY RECOGNISED On Tuesday evening', at St. James’s Parish Hall, Troop-Leader E. Gee was presented with a letter of commendation from Dominion Headquarters by the District Commissioner, Mr. R. C. Greigsby. Gee saved a boy from drowning in Freeman’s Bay a year ago, but in true Boy Scout fashion he did not tell anyone of his grave act. Nothing was known of his action until a new boy joined the St. James’s Troop some months ago. As soon as the boy saw Gee, he remarked: “That boy saved my life.’* Gee was also presented with his King’s Scout badge and his Public H«altbman’g and Pathfinder’s badges.
