CLUSTERS OF ORANGE BUDS PHILLIMORE—SEFONT A charming gown of prettily brocaded white crepe do chine was worn by Maud,, the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Sefont, of Auckland, when she was married last Saturday afternoon at St. Matthew’s Church to Mr. Norman George Phillimore, also of Auckland. Clusters of orange blossoms held her filmy lace veil in place and she carried a dainty sheaf of Christmas lilies and lilies of the valley. The marriage service was conducted by Canon Grant Cowen. The bride was given away by her uncle, Mr. Bebv, and the bridegroom- was attended by Mr. V. Sefont as best man. The Misses Ruth and Merle Beby acted as bridesmaids, and wore attractive frocks of * iris mauve and powder blue crepe marocain respectively. Bach carried a beautiful bouquet of flowers to tone. Little Miss Eileen Beby made a dainty flower girl in her pastel-tinted frock of crepe do chine, carrying a bouquet to tone. After the ceremony a reception was held at Nairn’s Tea Rooms, where Mrs. Sefont, mother of the b.ride, received a largo number of guests. Mrs. Sefont wore a becoming ensemble of wistaria repp cloth, with a wistaria mauve hat to tone.
