NAVY LEAGUE PRESENTATION
CAPT. MIDDLETON’S WORK A tangible appreciation of.the work which Captain J. R. Middleton, D. 5.0.. R.N., Director of Naval Reserves; for New Zealand, accomplished as secretary to the Auckland Branch of the Navy League was expressed yesterday, when the president of the branch, Mr. John Alexander. presented Captain Middleton with a fishing rod and tackle. Mrs. Middleton received a handbag. Appreciative reference was made to the service of Captain and Mrs. Middleton, and afternoon tea was served by the ladies of the branch.
