dance funds stolen CARELESS TREASURER James Reid, aged 27, pleaded guilty , tlle Police Court to-day to a charge °t stealing £4 11s d, the property of , Taupaki Bachelors’ Ball Committee. Senior-Sergeant McCarthy said that accused had received the money on “cnalf of the committee, and had left district without paying it over. Accused said he had intended to but had neglected to do so “rough carelessness. He was ordered to come up for sentence any time within 12 months, and “ake restitution.
