PRISONERS SENTENCED

GAOL AND BORSTAL Press Association. WELLINGTON, Monday. Prisoners sentenced at the Supreme Court to-day include George Armitage, aged 33, a labourer who, for breaking and entering and theft, was given two years, with hard labour. George Lester Rolfe, aged 23, a labourer, for breaking and entering, with intent, received two years with hard labour. Alfred Lewis, aged 20, on four charges of breaking and entering and theft, was sent to the Borstal for two years. Gerald Swanson, aged 29, a clerk, for assault with intent to commit rape, was sentenced to three years with hard labour.
