FOUND DEAD ON BEACH

SEEN WITH SHOTGUN The body of John Edward Rythern. of Valley Road, Northcote, was found on the beach in Shoal Bay last evening with a gun lying beside it. Rythern had been mentally depressed for some time and his parents, with whom he had been living, kept a close watch on him. Soon after 8.30 last evening, he was seen making for the beach, carrying a double-barrelled shotgun. His body was discovered a few minutes later.
