BENEFITS FOR POWER BOARDS "The Dominion has gone conference mad,” remarked Mr. E. G. Skeates at the Waitemata Power Board meeting to-day. "We have a conference on anything at all, and I have never seen anything come of a conference yet.” The acting-secretary, Mr. A. Main, had asked for permission to attend the Conference of Secretaries in Wellington on February 22 and 23. Mr. T. . Lamont remarked that the conference would be of no benefit to the board. Mr. Greenslade advocated that permission should be given. It would be wise for the secretary to keep the board in touch with any development relating to power boards, and permission was accordingly given*
