ROAD TO ROTORUA
THE MAMAKU SECTION So far a canvass in the Rotorua district has resulted in £2OO being collected toward the cost of metalling the road through Mamaku Bush. It is intended to make a systematic appeal and aim at the raising of £ 1,000. If this amount can be secured the Highways Board will metal the whole length of the road. The Mamaku County Council has a grader at work on Kitto’s Hill to ensure the road being kept open during the holiday season.
