PAPATOETOE MASONS

INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS There was a record attendance of members and visitors from sister lodges, at the installation of the master and investure of officers of Lodge Papatoetoe No. 227, on Thursday evening. Brethren were present from Tuakau in the south and Henderson in the north, and practically every lodge within that boundary was represented. The master, Mr. H. C. G. Ernest, was installed by the District Deputy Grand Master, Mr. W. R. T. Leighton, and he invested the following members with office: —1.P.M., E. Hodges; D.M., D. E. Connell; S.W., H. S. Thomas; J.W., W. W. Massey; treasurer, H. P. Andrew; secretary, E. D. Wilkinson; D.C., J. Willis; chaplain, T. Vallance; S.D., D. Penman; J.D., P. Edmond; 1.G., J. Melling; S.S., D. T. Calder; Tyler, P. Pennell. At the conclusion of the investiture the lodge adjourned for stipper.
