(From Our Own Correspondent) WHANGAREI, Sunday. Whangarei just missed a win by the full points against Y.M.C.A., but had to be content with victory by 17 runs on the first innings. The winners made 126 and 91, and Y.M. 109 and 41 for nine wickets. Marsden made no race of Onerahi in a match under rather farcical conditions. Each side batted seven men, Marsden scoring 70 and 7 for no wickets against Onerahi’s 22 and 54.
