BUTTER-FAT PAYMENTS

NOVEMBER RETURNS INCREASED OUTPUT While payments a lb of butter-fat are mostly below those of the previous month, returns of cream supplied to the factories throughout the Auckland Province during November are mostly well ahead of those for the corresponding month of last year. Until the money has been paid over no figures regarding the monthly pay-out of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., will be released. It is understood, however, that they will be appreciably lower than has been the case for some months. It is estimated that, apart from the New Zealand Dairy Co-operative, £111,451 will be distributed by Waikato companies to-morrow. The following advances are reported to have been decided upon:—Te Aroha, butter, Is 3}d a lb butter-fat, a 24 per cent, increase; Kakapuku, cheese, Is 6d a lb, a 20 per cent, increase; Tatua, cheese, Is 5d a lb; Sunny Park, Is 4id a lb for cheese and Is 5d a lb for butter, production being stationary; Raglan, butter, Is 4id a lb, a 25 per vent, increase; Te Awamutu, butter. Is 4id a lb, a 25 per cent. increase; Bruntwood, cheese. Is 5d a lb, production stationary; Norfolk, cheese, Is 6d a lb, a substantial increase in production is shown. The Cambridge Company will pay out over £40,000, based on Is 63d a lb for cheese and Is 4id a lb for butter, £8,600 being bonuses on last seasons supply. The company’s production shows an inCr Tbe 6 sum t>e paid out by the Morrinsville Company for butter. An increase of 40 per cent, in the production of this company is advised. A pay-out at the rate of Is od a lb on butter-fat is to be made by the Piopio Dairy Co., representing an aggregate increase of well over 75 per cent on the nav-out for November s make of last jeai. The sum of £B,OOO net has been paid out by the Sunny Park Co-operative Dairy Co., representing payment at the rate of Is 5d a lb on cheese and Is 4*d on butter-fat for batter-making. Suppliers of the Whaugaroa Dairy Co. are to receive Is for finest butterfat and Is 2d for first-grade.
