STRANG—PREECE
When Rosie Elizabeth, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Preece, of Hamilton, was married recently by the Rev. A. O. Harris, of St. John’s Methodist Church, Hamilton East, she wore a delightful frock of brocaded crepe de chine in a delicate parchment tint effectively panelled with silk embroidered lace, and caught with a large pearl ornament at the waist. A wreath of orange blossoms held her tulle veil in place and she carried a bouquet of Christmas lilies, x*oses and fern.
Miss Jinnie Preece, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, wearing a frock of apricot crepe de chine, with georgette trimming, and an apricotshaded crinoline hat. She carried a bouquet of roses, sweet peas and asparagus fern. The bride was also attended by her sister Avis, as flower girl, dressed in shell pink crepe de chine, with satin trimming and a shell pink crinoline hat. She carried a Victorian posy of pink carnations and sweet peas. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Hayley Preece.
