The solicitor for the Higgs brothers, who were acquitted in connection with charges arising out of the death of Mr. Ronald Leslie, a grazier, of Manly, states that he is about to make representations to the State Premier, Mr. T. R. Bavin, in order to ascertain whether the Government is -willing to reimburse Mr. Higgs, the father of the acquitted men, for the disbursements he has had to make for the defence of his sons.—A. and N.Z.
