At the international croquet tourney, in the semi-final of the doubles championship, Sir Francis Wemyss and W. Richards (England) defeated Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller, 26—21. Brilliant croquet was played by both sides, and the game lasted over two hours. In the final of the championship singles, C. J. Miller (Australia) defeated Mrs. Hogarth (Australia),224,6 —4, 26 —4 (best two out of three games). In the final of the doubles championship, Sir Francis Wemyss and W. Richards (England) defeated Miss Retallack (England) and J. C. Windsor (Australia), 26 —12. In the final of the doubles championship (two games out of three), Miss Retallack and J. C. Windsor defeated Sir Francis Wemyss and W. Richards, 26—13, 26—19. Intense heat made the conditions trying. The president of the association, Mr. A. Roberts, presented the International Singles Championship Cup to C. J. Miller, and the Doubles Cup to Miss eßtallack and J. C. Windsor. Test matches, England v.
