DEVONPORT NAVY LEAGUE
CHRISTMAS TIME DANCE The Devonport, sub-b.ranch of the Xavy League gave a Christmas-time dance to the crews of the warships at Calliope Dock last evening. The Harbour Board's big shed was transformed by a lavish use of bunting into dn effective ballroom, while *the Albeit Orchestra, under Mrs. Bullemore, was ensconced on a flower-decked platform “amidships.” That the league’s effort was appreciated was evidenced by the big attendance and a crowded floor.
