TAMAKI YACHT CLUB
SUCCESSFUL DANCE The Tamaki Yacht Club held a most successful dance in the Kohimarama Hall last evening for the purpose of raising funds for the club and the boathouse. Lines of red, white and blue streamers and balloons were strung across the hall, and large palm leaves and tree-fern effectively decorated the walls. During the evening waltz and foxtrot competitions were conducted. Among the ladies present were: Mrs. Webster, black marocain model embossed In silver thread with finelypleated panels of black georgette. Ml*s. Madill, frock of rose georgette Swiss embroidered in ivory. Mrs. F. H. Brown, dainty gown of shell pink georgette with pleated georgette skirt of floral design. Mrs. W. IT. Paterson, flame satinrusso gown finished with organdi flower at shoulder. Mrs. Tyrell, black georgette model beaded in jet and cardinal red. Mrs. Barnes, gown of black taffeta with coral-pink organdi flower at shoulder. Mrs. Goodison, bois de rose crepe de chine gown with Persian lace of bois do rose and oyster shades. Mrs. Grant, gown of coral pink embossed satin corde. Mrs. Morris, black georgette model with fringed relief. Mrs. J. Andrew, steel beaded black georgette gown and orange shaded shawl. Mrs. Grey, coral pink satin russe frock with relief of ivory. Mrs. R. Williams, black georgette gown

Wilson, turquoise blue crepe de chine gown and cerise patterned shawl. Aliss K. AlcGill, frock of primrose georgette over crepe de chine with narrow bands of floral relief. Miss Burrell, jade green crepe de chine frock. ATiss AT. White, sage green georgette frock finished with dainty bows of coral pink. Aliss J. Aliss Ansenne, cyclamen crepe de chine frock with silver-banded trimming. Aliss Trower, bouffant gown of pervfenohe blue taffeta. Aliss Scott, frock of lilac-tinted georgette. Aliss Berry, lime-coloured grosgrain taffeta gown.
