COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Gunbar arrives at Auckland on Monday and sails on Tuesday on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays. The Waipori arrived at Auckland this morning from Greymouth and berthed at the King’s Wharf. The Katoa is sailing from here at 9 : o'clock to-night for Portland, where she is to load cement for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Waipiata. en route from Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. left Lyttelton at 10 p.m. yesterday. She leaves Wellington at noon to-morrow and clears Pie-r-ton the same evening for Auckland, where she is due next Sunday. The Kartigi sailed from Westport at 3 a.m, yesterday for Napier and Auck-
land, and should arrive here on Saturday. The Kaponga is leaving Portland tonight for Wellington and Greymouth, where at the latter port she is loading for Melbourne. • The Wingatui completed her discharge of Southern cargo this morning and moved to the North Wall to lay up for the holidays. The Kamo is to load at Bluff on Friday, thence Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington and Napier for Auckland. The Kaimanawa was to leave Westport early this morning for Wellington and Auckland, and should arrive here about Saturday. The Waimea, which sailed from Auckland last evening for Gisborne and Napier, returns here on Sunday. The Westport Coal Company’s collier Canopus arrived at Auckland yesterday from Westport and berthed at the Western Wharf. She sails to-morrow on her return trip to the coal port. The Sutherland sailed from Westport yesterday afternoon for Makatea Island to load phosphates for Newcastle. The Pacific Transport berthed at Westport yesterday and should leave to-day for Wellington. to pick up stores for Nauru Island, where she will load for Australia. The Cumberland, In continuation of her voyage fVom Liverpool, sails this afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Bluff. The Atholl should leave Wanganui on Friday for Westport for bunkers before proceeding overseas. The Apanui, which arrived from Totara North early this afternoon, sails again at midnight to-night for the Great Barrier. The Matangi, sailing at 7 p.m., to-day for Tauranga, returns again at 7 o’clock on Friday morning. The Ngatiawa sails at 5.30 p.m., to-day for Thames, She is due back to-morrow evening. The Hauiti sails at 3.30 pan., to-day for Kopu and Turua. She is due back again at 4 p.*m., to-morrow. The Taniwha, arriving at 8 o’clock tomorrow morning "from Paeroa, sails again at 4 p.m., the same day on the return trip. The Claymore, tiue at 8.30 a.m., tomorrow from Whangarei, sails again at 8.30 p.m., the same day on the return trip. • . The Richardson steamer Mako arrived at Auckland this morning from the East Coast, via Portland, and berthed at the Queen’s Wharf. She is scheduled to sail again at six o’clock this evening for East Coast bays, Napier, and Wairoa. The Awahou and Tiroa left yesterday for Tokomaru Bay, Hicks Bay, afid Gisborne. . , , . . The Isabella de Fraine arrived in Auckland this morning from Hokianga. After loading to-day and to-morrow she is to be dispatched again to-morrow evening for the return trip to Hokianga.
