Morris, headmaster of the Waihi Central School, has been appointed headmaster of St. Stephen's Coliege for Maori boys, at Purnell, Auckland, and will take up his new position after the Christmas school ivoiidays. Mr. Morris has been in charge of the Central and Waihi .District High Schools for two years, and prior to coming here was the director* of manual and technical instruction, and supervisor of agriculture under the Hawke's Bay Education Board. Mr. Morris's departure will be a distinct loss to Waini. for, since his arrival here, he has done much to further the interests of education and sport in the Waihi schools.
