GOVERNMENT PAYS £21,000 Press Association. WELLINGTON, Monday. The case in which E. W. Mills and Company claimed £32,755 from the Public Works Department, as compensation for a building taken for public purposes, concluded in the Compensation Court to-day, Mr. Justice MacGregor and Messrs. R. Menzies and W. W. T. Strand were on the bench. The court awarded £21,000 in settlement of all claims, with £l5O costs, disbursements and witnesses’ expenses to be fixed by the registrar, and each party to pay its own assessor a fee of £ls 15s« —-
