The president of the committee said it was awarded to Professors Puisson and Guidge in recognition of their untiring efforts in the FrancoGerman rapprochement, leading to the Dawes scheme, Locarno, and Germany’s admission to the League.—A. and N.Z. Professor Ferdinand Buisson, of France, and Professor Ludwig Guidge. of Germany, share the Nobel Peace Prize. Professor Buisson is president of the League of the Rights of Man. Professor Guidge is the originator of many schemes for international peace.
