SCHOOL CONCERT

ELLERSLIE RAISES FUNDS In order to raise funds for their school picnic, the pupils of the Ellerslie school recently held a most successful concert. Each standard contributed items to a novel and interesting programme, which a crowded house thoroughly enjoyed. There were songs by the infants, including “Sixpence." from “Punch," by Elizabeth Ellen; drills and dances of all descriptions; character recitations, sea chanties, gymnastic displays, and violin solos. Pounsett, J. Tangney, J. Hockenbull,, S. Sharp, Nancy Anderson, Rita Jones, Rona Tilby, Mary Foster, E. Pinches, G. Brown, A. Dickenson, G. Dickey, J. Bew, L. Steere, Joan Devitt, Camilla Belz, Jean Mackay, Phyllis, Morgan, Florence Marshall, Jean Britton, Louis Mendelssohn, Bill Skam, Elsie Meredith, L. Crawford, and Milda Bust.
