Among the actions for divorce in Hamilton yesterday a case was heard in which Assid Michael Sheweiry. a Greek, sought dissolution of his marriage with Hffie Shewiery on the grounds of desertion. They had been married 31 years. After living in Auckland for 17 years they removed to Kawhia and ten years ago the wife left and refused to return. Evidence of wrongful conduct on the part of the petitioner was given and Mr. Justice Herdman refused to grant the petition.
