CORNWALL PARK SCHOOL

SALE AND CARNIVAL A sports carnival and sale of work in conjunction with the Cornwall Park District School will be held in the school grounds on Saturday. Mr. A. Burns, chairman of the Auckland Education Board, will perform the opening ceremony at 2.30 p.m. Mr. P. Bryan, as honorary secretary, with the assistance of a strong committee, is organising the function. Children's races, tugs-of-war, a Punch and Judy show, fancy dress parade, and prizez. for decorated trollies and perambulators, are among the attractions.

There will also be fruit and produce, jumble, ice cream and drinks, and home-made cakes stalls.

A fish pond and a bran tub should also prove of much interest to the young people,
