HAWKE CUP ELIMINATION MATCH AT BLENHEIM

Press Association BLENHEIM, Thursday. The Hawke Cup preliminary match between Marlborough and Nelson was commenced to-day. After making an excellent start Marlborough went to pieces, the total scored being 177. M. Neal was run out when well set with 37 to his credit. Nelson replied with only 136, of which Kemnitz made 50. Marlborough, in the second innings, has lost two wickets for 12 runs.
