MACARONI AND RABBIT PIE

For a really tasty dish, one should try a macaroni and rabbit pie. This is made by boiling some macaroni until tender, draining and cutting it into small pieces. Then line a mould with short pasty, fil'l it with flour to preserve the shape; bake this in a quick oven until brown, when the flour filling must be scraped out. Now cut up a cooked rabbit, and bring it to the boil in white gravy. Arrange the filling in the mould with a layer of macaroni, and grated cheese. Repeat until the mould is full, letting the last layer be cheese. Then heat the dish thoroughly, and when it is carefully turned out, serve with vegetables.
