GARDEN PARTY

A delightful garden party was given by Mrs. Arthur Griffiths and Miss Dorothy Griffiths to their dramatic students last Saturday at their residence, “The Drive.” Owen’s Road, Mt. Eden. The young guests, who numbered nearly 100, enjoyed the performance of pastoral plays and Greek dances, which was given on the lawn, the flowers and foliage making an ideal background. Games and competitions were indulged in and refreshments served in the large dining-room, which was beautifully decorated with roses and carnations.
