AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT OFFER SUBSIDY OF £2,000 By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 11.5 a.m. CANBERRA, To-day. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Stanley Bruce, announced that conditionally upon £5,000 being subscribed by the public towards the expenses of the Australian Olympic team, the Government will give an additional £2.000.—A. and N.Z.
