BULGARIAN BANDITS A LIGHTNING RAID By Cable. — Press. Association. — Copyright. BELGRADE, Monday. A shocking affray has occurred in a restaurant at Strumitza, in the southeast corner of Yugoslavia, as the result of a lightning raid by a gang of bandits from Bulgaria. A fusilade of revolver shots was heard and the police rushed to the scent. There they found several Serbian officers and a woman and child dead. Another officer was seriously wounded. The bandits escaped, firing in all directions. They fired shots at the police patrol, two members of which were badly wounded, as well as five civilians.—A. and N.Z.
