PAPATOETOE METHODISTS

FUNDS FOR CHOIR A very successful and enjoyable musical programme was rendered by the Black and Maroon Pierrot Troupe, under the leadership of Mr. J. Sanderson, in the Papatoetoe Methodist Hall, last evening. The proceeds of the entertain are to be devoted to the Papatoetoe Methodist Choir Fund. During the evening a number of very enjoyable and pleasing solos were rendered, and a male and mixed quarte_t were accorded a very hearty reception. The following contributed to the evening’s entertainment: —Vocal solos, Misses K. Bryant, M. Bryant, M. Sanderson; male quartet, Messrs. J. Sanderson, L. Kendall, W. Sanderson and H. Elder; mixed quartet, Mrs. J. Sanderson. Messrs. J. Sanderson, H. Elder and W. Sanderson. Mrs. Sanderson played the accompaniments.
