RAETIHI W.C.T.U. MONTHLY MEETING There was a poor attendance at the monthly meeting of the Raetihi Womens’ Christian Temperance Union, held on Friday in the Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Griffin presided. This meeting, being members’ day, the roll was called and members answered by verse or quotation. Being the last meeting of the year, it took the form of a social afternoon. After devotional exercises and the business, four new member! and one honorary member were proposed. Mrs. Reynolds rendered a vocal solo and Mrs. Kencke a recitation, which were greatly appreciated. A very dainty afternoon tea was served by the committee.
