GREEK WAR DEBT TO U.S.
MUTUAL PACT Bi / Cable. — Preaa Association. Copyright WASHINGTON, Monday. The Greek war debt owing to the United States has been funded under a mutual pact which grants Greece an additional £2,400,000 and provides that the latter sum shall be repaid in 20 years, with interest at 4 per cent. This satisfies the Greek claims that the complete original grant had not ! been made. The war debt itself is ' £3,000,000, and it will be repaid in a period of 62 years, with interest at * 3 per cent, pefc annum. —A. and N.Z.
