CAPITOL

‘‘IS ZAT SO?” The story of “Is Zat So?” is an important part of the picture which is high in human interest value, with many comedy situations that brought peals of laughter from the audience. Ivathryn Perry plays the leading feminine lead, with Doris Lloj'd, Douglas Fairbanks, junr., Philippe De Lacy and Cyril Chadwick in roles of importance. This is an entertainment that is sure to appeal to everyone. As a “gloom chaser” nothing in recent months excels it.

Every man in the picture is at present serving or has served in the army. The majority of the scenes were filmed on the actual sites where they occurred, and although this picture deals with one of the most tragic yet heroic deeds of the war, it has its lighter side. Facts which have been sought concernin'- this famous retreat go to prove that the indomitable British spirit was frequently the cause for merriment in the very face of death, and that in many cases it was only- the Englishman’s inherited sense of humour which carried him on. “Mons” will be shown at the Capitol for the iagj. Uj&§ to-morrow,
