EVERYBODY’S
“CRADLE SNATCHERS” If husbands have the right, or rather take the opportunity to flirt over weekends with pretty flappers, then the wives should have the same privilege. At least that is the lesson taught to three deceiving husbands in “Cradle Snatchers,” a delightful farce which is being screened at Everybody’s Theatre. For sheer fun this picture has had no equal on the screen in years. The idea of three wives hiring three college boys to play the parts of Romeos to give their husbands a taste of their own medicine, worked out as it is in this Fox Films farce, appeals to the sense of humour and the justice of things. Of course, one of the wives, played by Louise Fazenda, forgets that it is strictly business with her hired lover, and he, too, gets interested and forgets that he is only to play a part. Then there is the blond viking, who is chosen by another wife, played by Ethel Wales. The complications which follow are the funniest ever screened.
