DECREASING TOTE RETURNS LAST YEAR’S FIGURES Press Association WELLINGTON, Monday. Totalisator investments for the year ended July 31 were £7,552,894, against £8,605,552 in 1926. The number of races fell from 2,418 to 2.522, and there was a decrease of seven in the number of racing days. , The Government took £559,267 and clubs £601,853.
