“LONESOME LADIES” One of the most entei-taining domestic comedies the local screen ha 3 presented, “Lonesome Ladies,” heads the bill at the Princess Theatre. Lewis Stone and Anna Q. Kay Kockett produced the film for First National Pictures and Joseph Henabery directed it. Jane Winton at her delectable best, is the beautiful vamp who tries to steal Mr. Stone from his wife, Miss Nilsson. And oh, how that woman does “vamp”! But the picture is clean and wholesome, and young folk and old will enjoy it. In the supporting cast of “Lonesome Ladies” there are four other noted feminine beauties, Fritzie Kidgeway, Loris Lloyd, Le Sacia Mooers and Grace Carlisle. Edward Marttndel, Captain B. H. Calvert and Fred Warren also have interesting roles. Every character is humanly and humorously characterised.

The story was written especially for the screen by Lenore Coffee, and (adapted by Winifred Lunn. These f lever writers have loaded “Lonesome .adies” with feminine appeal that inrigues both men and women of the audience, and the film affords Mr. Etone and Miss Nilsson endless opportunities for fine comedy and many romantic situations. The Dempsey-Tunney fight film is also attracting large audiences to the Princess.
