MILITARY COLLEGES AS SPORT RIVALS
WIN FOR AUSTRALIA By Cable. —Press Association. — P^vuriaht. LONDON, Thursday. The Duntroon Military College, Australia, with 14 points, won the Laffertv Cup for sports, defeating Sandhurst, 12 points, Canada 9 points and Woolwich 5 points. Hitherto Sandhurst had won the cup for six years in succession. This year Australia won the relay race and the mile flat race, and was second in the high jump and the swimming events.—A. and N.Z,
