CLUB’S HARBOUR RACES

Harbour races for mullet boats and j smaller yachts will be held to-morrow afternoon by the Tamaki Yacht Club. Seven races have been arranged, the classes nominations and handicaps being as follow: H, L and N Classes.—2.4o p.m., Waitere, Celox, Wairere, Winifred and Wayward; and post entries until 2.30 p.m. Star Class.—2.so p.m., Ola, June. Moa, all scratch. V and S Classes.—3 p.m.. Drone, scratch: Mistral, 3Jm: Namu, sm: ; Wild Wave, 6m; Magic, Sm; Aratu. 8m: Sea Sleigh. 12m. T and X Classes.—3.lo p.m., Kismet, scratch; Marie, 2m: Linnet, sm; Desert Gold, sm: Xgaio, 7m. Y Class.—3.2o p.m., Alerte. scratch: Jupiter, 4m; Opal, sm; Sea Breeze. sm; Romp, 7m; Sea Nymph, llm. Z Class.—3.3o p.m., Comet, scratch; | i Kitty, 3m; Arikana, 6m; Frolic 6m; j j and post entries. M Class.—4 p.m.. Mawhiti. Matarerc, | Maroro, Manene, Maratea. all scratch. The course for H. L and X Classes is ! | Xo. 3, which is as follows:—Start be- : | tween Kohimararna wharf and flagship moored north, thence to Bastion light | beacon, thence round Bean rock, thence j round Auckland Harbour Boary buoy ! near Drunken Bay, thence round a • mark moored north of St. Hellers j [ wharf, thence back to starting line. ; i All marks to be kept on starboard hand. Class M will sail round Xo. 1 course as follows:—From starting line thence round Bastion light beacon, thence round Bean rock, thence round mark moored north of St. Heliers wharf head, thence to starting line. Twice round, passing all marks on starboard ! hand. Race will start at 4 p.m by • arrangement with Royal Xew Zealand Yacht Squadron. The course for the remaining classes | is the same as that for M boats. Z Class boats will proceed round once < only, the others to go round twice.
