DOCTOR’S CAR STOLEN

TAKEN FROM GARAGE AT REMUERA Thieves removed Dr. J. H. H. Wood’s motor-car from the garage at his home some time between midnight and 7 o'clock this morning. THE car must have been run out of A the garage across the street and then down a hill nearby, so that it would start without any bother. Dr. Wood lives at the corner of Remuera Road and Lucerne Road. He did not return home till midnight and as the hour was late he did not lock the garage door, but just closed it. This morning the car was gone, and there were signs that the thief or thieves had entered the garage from the side door. The car is a five-seater Studebaker, bearing the number 38-444.
