YVTHO is the world’s best all - ' ’ round athlete? H. M. Osborne, the American. who won the Decathlon at the Paris Olympiad, would take some beating in the field events. Here is his little list: high jump, 6ft Bjin; long jump, 23ft 15 2-ssec; pole vault, 12ft; hop, step and jump, 46ft 9jin; shot putt, 40ft Bin. This is versatility carried to a degree of perfection unknown in most countries.
