DRIVER HEAVILY FINED

HILLCREST FATALITY (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. In the Supreme Court this morning, John Blair, aged 19, motor mechanic, found guilty of negligent driving thereby causing the death of Walter Reynolds and John Ward in a collision at Hillcrest on October 15, appeared for sentence before Mr. Justice Herdman, who imposed a fine of £IOO and debarred Blair from obtaining a driver’s licence for three years.
