A POPULAR BOWLER
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS (From Our Own Correspondent) CAMBRIDGE, To-day. Mr. George Clark, head of the firm of Messrs. George E. Clark and Sons, and one of the best-known residents of the Waikato, yesterday celebrated his 87th birthday and received numerous congratulations. He has resided here continuously for 60 years. Air. Clark is an enthusiastic bowler and the bowling club presented him with a handsome trophy on his birthday. He is still hale and hearty and personally controls a large busniess.
