SUNDAY CONCERT

AT RIALTO, NEWMARKET A pleasant concert was given in the Bialto Theatre, Newmarket, last evening. The Salon Trio, Messrs. Howard Moody, Francis Bate and Frank lfoffey, played “Extase” (Ganne) and “Serenade” (Widor) delightfully, and Mr. Bate gave as solos “My Heart at Thy Sweet Voice,” from “Samson and Delilah” (Saint-Saens), and “The Swan” (Saint-Saens). “Old Bouquet” and an Italian folk

song were sung by Miss Stella Direcei. Mr. Chas. King gave two songs in character, “The Blind Boy” and “The Wanderer.” Mr. Hoffey’s violin solo, “Czardas,” was a popular number. Mr. Alan McElwain’s monologues were much appreciated. Mr. Howard Moody played the accompaniments with skill.
