ATHENIC ARRIVES
ASSISTED IMMIGRANTS SMOOTH PASSAGE FROM ENGLAND The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s Athenic arrived from Liverpool last evening with a total of 377 second and third-class passengers. Many of them were assisted immigrants, including a batch of about 40 domestic servants. The majority of the passengers were from Scotland or the North of Ireland. The voyage out was uneventful. Calm weather prevailed nearly the whole way out. Dances and concerts were organised during the voyage, which had been thoroughly enjoyed.
