FELL THROUGH VENTILATOR
SHIPS ENGINEER INJURED Mr. Fredriek Pressley, chief engineer of the Northern Steamship Company’s vessel Waipu. now berthed at the company’s wharf, fell through an open ventilator on to a boiler last evening and injured his back. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance.
Mr. Pressley had just stepped on board after spending some time on shore. He is 58 years of age, and lives at 15 Sherwood Road, Mount Eden-
